We are currently seeking an   Assistant Manager   to join our team at   Dizzy’s Club . This role is essential in ensuring seamless restaurant operations, delivering outstanding guest experiences, and supporting the management team with administrative and operational responsibilities. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership and organizational skills and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee restaurant and department closing procedures, ensuring all supervisor duties are completed.
  • Assist with daily administrative tasks, including inventory management, data entry, filing, and reporting.
  • Support the management of group sales, including coordination and execution.
  • Review daily departmental checklists to ensure compliance with DOH regulations and company standards.
  • Step in to assist in service as needed to maintain smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Act as an elite   Maitre D' , leading the host stand and managing the club entrance to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Handle office-related tasks such as ordering supplies, printing, copying, and managing calendars.
  • Execute ad hoc assignments as directed by management. 

Qualifications:  

  • Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management preferred.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of DOH compliance and safety regulations.
  • Late-night open availability and schedule flexibility.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Floor Manager or Supervisor (NYC experience preferred).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a NYC restaurant.
  • DOH Food Handler’s Certification.
  • Professional demeanor with a polished, upscale presentation.

Location:   Dizzy’s (JALC)

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000

Job Type:   Full-time
