Job Title: Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Transition
Location: Remote
Duration: Through the end of the year

Key Highlights:

• Broad Expertise Required: Demonstrated experience in various aspects of cybersecurity that will provide a robust overview of risk assessments and risk mitigation strategies covering cross blocked environments.
• Integration Focus: Drive the target operating model to an acquired company's security tech stack with the acquiring entity and ensure consistency of security posture with no business impact.
• Collaborative Leadership: Engage cross-functional teams to bridge security strategies, evangelizing the use of best practices in a rapidly evolving post-acquisition environment.
• Potential Challenges: A&D requires reconciling disparate security maturity levels; evidence indicates positive integration outcomes are driven by active threat assessments and adaptive controls, but impact may differ based on organizational configuration.

Role Responsibilities

In this role, you will spearhead security efforts for complex integrations, focusing on harmonizing systems while upholding J&J's high standards for data protection and compliance.

• Security Design: Understand secure architectures that bring two organizations together that include identity, access controls, proactive threat defense coordinating and evangelizing across many security operations and engineering product teams.

• Implementation & Integration: Support the Information Security Engineering and Operaitons teams to deploy security tools minimum service disruption and optimized fit.
• Operations Incident Management & Incident Response: Observe integrated environments, respond quickly to incidents as a managing stakeholder among product-teams escalating as needed and providing constant direction / forward guidance to ensure A&D success
• Leadership & Knowledge Sharing: Lead teams through migration, document set of practices, and share security implications with stakeholders at every level.

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience, preferably in Computer Science, Information Security, or related fields.

• 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles with a focus on operational or engineering functions.
• Deep technical expertise in identity solutions (e.g., Azure AD, Entra ID), network defenses (firewalls, SASE, VPNs), endpoint protection, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with protocols such as SAML, OAuth, SSL/TLS.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, IS027001), controls, and compliance standards (SOX/SOC).
• Proven ability to lead technical integrations and manage cross -functional efforts in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging technical and executive audiences.

Preferred:

• Experience supporting cybersecurity in life sciences environments.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, ISSAP.
• Knowledge of COBIT and ITIL frameworks.
