Job Description

Robert is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Sound Engineer to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing, mixing, and editing high-quality audio for various projects, including music recordings, podcasts, and multimedia content. Your expertise in sound design and audio production will be crucial in ensuring that every project meets our high standards for quality and creativity. You will work closely with artists, producers, and other team members to understand their vision and bring their audio projects to life. From setting up recording equipment to post-production mixing, you will play a vital role in every aspect of the sound engineering process. Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate audio equipment for recordings and live performances.
  • Record, mix, and edit audio tracks to produce polished final products.
  • Collaborate with artists and other stakeholders to capture the desired sound and atmosphere.
  • Utilize audio software and hardware to achieve the highest quality sound.
  • Conduct sound quality checks and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
  • Stay updated on the latest audio technologies and trends in the industry.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of audio sessions and project details.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sound Engineer or in a similar role in audio production.
  • In-depth knowledge of sound recording, mixing, and editing software (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live).
  • Strong understanding of acoustics, sound design, and audio technology.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a creative approach to sound engineering.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively work with clients and team members.
  • Degree in Audio Engineering, Music Technology, or a related field is preferred.
