Dermatologist | Houston, TX

Physician‑Led, Multispecialty Practice | Medical Dermatology Focus

Kelsey‑Seybold Clinic , part of the Optum family, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Dermatologist to join our growing, collaborative Dermatology team throughout the Greater Houston area .

This is an excellent opportunity to practice comprehensive medical dermatology within a well‑established, physician‑led multispecialty group that values clinical excellence, collaboration, and long‑term career growth.

Position Highlights

• Established and expanding Dermatology department with 19 providers across 11 locations
• Broad scope of medical dermatology treating both adult and pediatric patients
• Collaborative team including dermatopathologists and a Mohs surgeon
• Access to advanced services including phototherapy (nbUVB, PUVA, excimer), extended patch testing, and select cosmetic services
• Strong multidisciplinary collaboration with General Surgery, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Hematology/Oncology, Rheumatology, Infectious Disease, and Radiation Oncology
• Opportunities to participate in monthly tumor board and quarterly journal club
• Practice autonomy supported by integrated systems and specialty access

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage a full range of dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, bullous diseases, and skin cancers
• Provide care for both adult and pediatric patients
• Collaborate closely with medical and surgical specialists across the Kelsey‑Seybold system
• Deliver evidence‑based, patient‑centered dermatologic care
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and educational forums

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or M.B.B.S.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Texas
• Unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment
• Preferred: Bilingual English/Spanish

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $360,000 to $672,500 , inclusive of base salary and bonus, and is based on experience, productivity, and market factors. Physicians are offered a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, 401(k) contributions, equity stock purchase options, and additional benefits (subject to eligibility).
