Membership Outreach Analyst Intern / Co-op:
The Membership Outreach Analyst Intern will be part of the Membership team and will support efforts to enhance the ARM Institute’s Consortium Relationship Management processes, with a strong focus on data quality and member engagement. This role will play a key part in preparing for the re-launch of the ARM Member Community by ensuring that member data is accurate, complete, and actionable.

This internship offers a dynamic opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with Salesforce, supporting data-driven decision-making, and actively engaging with ARM’s diverse consortium of members. The role is ideal for someone who is interested in both data and client-facing work, and who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Interns will also have opportunities to participate in ARM events, webinars, and team meetings to gain exposure to the organization’s culture and membership initiatives.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Support Salesforce database cleanup efforts, including updating member profiles, industry classifications, and contact information to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in preparing for the launch of the updated ARM Member Community by ensuring high-quality and well-organized data
  • Develop and generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into member engagement and outreach efforts
  • Conduct outreach to ARM members via email and phone to validate information, gather updates, and support engagement initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Membership team to improve processes for maintaining and utilizing CRM data
  • Participate in ARM-hosted events, webinars, workshops, and meetings to support member engagement and gain exposure to ARM’s ecosystem
  • Assist in tracking and analyzing key metrics related to membership growth, engagement, and program impact
  • Explore and support the implementation of AI tools to improve data management and database efficiency
Requirements:
  • Candidates must be enrolled in a college degree program and have completed the second year of college by the start of the internship
  • Undergraduate candidates must be working toward a 2-year or 4-year degree, preferably in business, marketing, communications, statistics, or a related field
  • Candidates must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 GPA scale
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence in engaging directly with members via phone and email
  • Interest in both data analysis and client-facing work, with a willingness to learn and grow in both areas
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exposure to Salesforce or other CRM tools is a plus (training will be provided)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Interest in building relationships and contributing to a member-focused organization
