Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to join our team at Seniors Helping Seniors Jersey Shore North. In this role, you will provide personalized care and support to seniors in their homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This position requires a commitment to living on-site to offer continuous assistance and companionship. Responsibilities

• Provide daily personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and light physical exercises as directed.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for the client.
• Offer companionship and engage in activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Monitor health conditions and report any changes to appropriate family members or healthcare professionals.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and errands.
• Respect clients’ privacy and dignity at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
• Ability to live on-site at the client’s home in Jackson, NJ.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine interest in helping seniors.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle physical demands associated with caregiving duties.
• Background check and references required.
