Job Summary:
As a Licensed Residential Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in residential properties. You will work closely with homeowners to provide exceptional service, troubleshoot plumbing issues, and ensure compliance with all applicable plumbing codes and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems and a commitment to providing top-notch customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential settings, including but not limited to faucets, toilets, sinks, water heaters, and pipes.
- Diagnose plumbing issues and provide accurate estimates for repairs or replacements.
- Execute plumbing projects in compliance with local codes and safety regulations.
- Respond to service calls and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding plumbing issues, recommended solutions, and project timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and accounted for.
- Collaborate with other team members and assist in training apprentices as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new plumbing technologies, and code changes.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including service orders, invoices, and inspection reports.
Qualifications:
- Valid plumbing license for Indiana.
- Proven experience as a residential plumbing technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing quality work.
