Art Teacher - School at Northeast - Schenectady

**Sign On Bonus $2,500**

POSITION SUMMARY
The School at Northeast is seeking an Art Teacher. this job offer is responsible to provide art education that follows the NYS standards to children grades K-12.

ESSENTIAL tasks AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other tasks may be assigned

»Maintain and organize art materials and equipment,

»Provide therapeutic art instruction to individuals, small groups, and classrooms,

»Provide leadership abilities in a variety of school-wide art events and activities,

»Work with school administration to deliver art practices to students in a variety of school-wide venues on the agency campus,

»Represent the school in Capital Region art events and activities.

EDUCATION and/or practice

»Masters/Bachelors degree in Art Education
