Position: Matron (Housekeeping/Laundry)

Key Responsibilities:
After each event, thoroughly clean and reset all event spaces. This includes vacuuming carpets, wiping down surfaces, dusting furniture, and ensuring floors are spotless. You will make sure that the venue is ready for upcoming events the next day.
Regularly clean and sanitize restrooms throughout the evening. This includes restocking supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels, ensuring cleanliness, and maintaining an inviting atmosphere for guests.
Manage all linens, including tablecloths, napkins, chair covers, and other event-related fabrics. Wash, dry, fold, and store linens efficiently. Ensure that all linen supplies are clean, neat, and available for the next event.
Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning supplies, laundry detergents, and other necessary materials. Notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished to ensure there’s no disruption in daily operations.
Perform general cleaning duties as needed throughout the venue, including hallways, lobby areas, and office spaces. Assist in preparing the venue for events and ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard.
Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning supplies and operating equipment. Ensure that all cleaning and laundry tasks are done in accordance with the company’s standards and health regulations.
Work closely with the event coordinators and other staff to ensure the venue’s cleanliness meets our high standards for every event. Be proactive in communicating any issues that may need attention.

Working Hours:
This position requires evening hours and weekend shifts, including holidays. Events may run late into the evening, and the venue needs to be cleaned and prepared for future events the next day. Flexibility is essential.
