Family Medicine Physician | Greater Houston, TX

Physician‑Led, Multispecialty Practice | Comprehensive Primary Care

Kelsey‑Seybold Clinic , part of the Optum family, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join our established, collaborative multispecialty practices across Greater Houston locations .

This role offers the opportunity to provide full‑spectrum primary care within an integrated, physician‑led organization that supports long‑term career growth, continuity of care, and strong patient relationships.

Position Highlights

• Outpatient‑focused Family Medicine practice caring for patients across the lifespan, from pediatric to senior adult
• Monday through Friday clinic schedule with predictable hours
• Opportunity to care for new patients, conduct annual physicals, wellness visits, and preventive care
• Family Medicine call group participation approximately once per month ; phone‑based call shared with another physician
• Strong nursing and administrative support integrated into daily workflow
• Full access to in‑house specialists, imaging, and diagnostic services across the Kelsey‑Seybold system
• Practice opportunities available across multiple Greater Houston locations

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care for individuals and families, including preventive care and chronic disease management
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
• Coordinate care and refer patients to specialists within the multispecialty system
• Perform annual physicals, wellness exams, and corporate physicals
• Participate in shared Family Medicine call coverage

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Texas
• Preferred: Bilingual English/Spanish

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation for this specialty is competitive and includes base salary and bonus, based on experience, productivity, and market factors. Physicians are offered a comprehensive benefits package including incentive programs, 401(k) contributions, equity stock purchase options, and additional benefits (subject to eligibility).
