Role Purpose Statement

The Employee Experience Manager is a new and highly visible position that will heavily affect the organization! This position will be a partner with the Human Resources Manager and Vice President and be the face of the Company in implementing a program focused on providing a welcoming and positive employee experience during onboarding and throughout an employee's career with LSG. The Employee Experience Manager will be the voice of employees and communicate any findings or concerns to Field Operations and Human Resources.

 

 

Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate a 24/7 operation in multiple buildings – (typical schedule is day shift, but night shift visits will be required)

Main Accountabilities

• Review and analyze turnover data to identify trends and work with department leaders to develop action plans and strategies aimed at minimizing turnover.
• Facilitate weekly new hire orientation sessions for both union and non-union employees, ensuring a consistent, engaging, and informative onboarding experience that aligns with organizational policies and culture.
• Partner with CSC Leadership to design, implement, and execute impactful employee engagement initiatives, leveraging tools such as focus groups, surveys, and feedback sessions to gather insights and drive meaningful improvements in workplace culture and employee experience.
• Lead and manage the Employee Recognition Program by overseeing all components, including program training, communication and promotion, reward distribution, and coordination of monthly engagement events and activities to foster a culture of appreciation.
• Administer and enhance the New Hire Onboarding Buddy Program by partnering with operations leaders to ensure program success. Responsibilities include buddy selection and training, pairing buddies with new hires, monitoring engagement, collecting feedback from both parties, and managing incentive payouts.
• Drive new hire engagement post-orientation by ensuring timely completion of feedback surveys through text or in-person interactions. 
• Collect and analyze both quantitative and qualitative feedback from surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one conversations to identify opportunities for improvement. 
• Present actionable insights and recommendations to leadership to continuously optimize the onboarding experience.
• Serve as a trusted and supportive point of contact for newly hired employees, providing guidance, answering questions, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related field/role – must have previous experience driving engagement efforts, retention, and morale. 
• Previous leadership/management experience required will be collaborating with department leaders and senior leaders.
• Comfortable working in a service industry/production environment; must be able to wear all required PPE to comply with GMP requirements while in production areas.
• Plus, other duties as assigned; perform other related duties as required to support team objectives.
• Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft programs.
• A bachelor’s degree preferred.
